SCOOP is underway at PokerStars

With more event s and bigger prizes, once again the SCOOP is underway at PokerStars.  The Spring Championship of Online Poker is one of the biggest and best online poker tournaments in the world, featuring 38 events, which have hundreds of qualifying satellites and a guaranteed $45 million prize pool.

This great online poker tournament is unique because of its playing structure.  Each of the 38 events is actually THREE events.  For each SCOOP event played at PokerStars there will be three buy-in levels; low, medium and high, each with their own prize pools.  This allows the pros to battle it out for the huge prizes while the everyday players and the beginners also get a look in.

The SCOOP action kicked off at 6pm (UK) yesterday with the 6-seat No-Limit Texas Holdem $22, $215 and $2,100 and will continue until the 17th of May when the No-Limit Texas Holdem $109, $1,050 and $10,300 Main Event climaxes.

There have already been some big SCOOP 2010 winners such as ‘BongBob’ who won $191,135 playing in event #1, the 6-seat No-Limit Texas Holdem $2,100 buy-in (high) and ‘MCMATTO’ who won $470,500 playing in event #8, the No-Limit Texas Holdem (Two-day) $1,050 buy-in (high).
