Poker in the Park Poker Festival

Next month sees London hosting the Poker in the Park poker festival.  This huge event which is being held in Leicester Square Park, London on August 13th & 14th is being sponsored by Bluff Magazine and sees some of poker’s biggest names both speaking and also offering tips and advice on how to be a better poker player.

The Poker in the Park poker festival raises the profile of this ever popular game in Great Britain, gets you closer to your poker idols and also to give you the opportunity to improve your game and to play poker free of charge with the other lovers of our great game.  Last year’s Poker in the Park poker festival drew over 10,000 poker enthusiasts with this year’s event promising to be even bigger and better.  WSOP World Champions Jamie Gold and Peter Eastgate will be speaking and offering advice on all poker game variations, as well as poker pros Annette Obrestad, Nik Persaud, Neil Channing and also special celebrity guests Michael Greco and Tony Cascarino who will be talking about their love of the game and what drew them to it.

Not only will there be poker pro advice sessions, video tutorials, free poker tournaments organized by local poker clubs and also stands selling poker equipment like poker chips, cards and books.  There will also be the “Jamie Gold Charity Poker Tournament” which last year saw poker pros Peter Eastgate, Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliot, Paul Jackson and Marc Goodwin in attendance and should draw an equally impressive line-up this year.
