Boeree joins UltimateBet from Absolute Poker

TV presenter, model and poker professional Liv Boeree has been tempted away from the poker tables at Absolute Poker to join forces with top players like Phil “Poker Brat” Hellmuth and Annie Duke at UltimateBet.  Boeree joins UltimateBet from Absolute Poker just in time to play for them in the Asian Poker Tour Macau next week.

UK poker player Olivia “Liv” Boeree was first noticed in the poker world when she was a contestant on Channel 5’s show "Ultimatepoker.com Showdown" back in 2005, where she received expert coaching from Phil Hellmuth.

After Liv’s taste of the poker big-time she started to play more seriously while also landing a job as the TV presenter and journalist for Gutshot TV at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, followed by becoming the host of Challenge TV's on-line coverage of the European Poker Tour.  This young poker star also writes regular column articles for poker magazines including; Bluff Magazine Europe, Gambling Online, World Poker Tour and Online Gambler.

Liv then became the European Ambassador for Absolute Poker and started representing them in live poker events across the world.  Liv has had many cash finishes in huge world poker tournaments including the World Series of Poker and her progress hasn’t gone unnoticed.  Her old-time mentor Phil Hellmuth has offered her a place at UltimateBet where she can continue to learn new poker skills from the self proclaimed “modern day poker genius”.  Most recently Liv has been seen playing the New 7 Deuce Poker Game at UltimateBet.

Liv is not the only new poker ambassador at UltimateBet.  She is joined by Bryan Devonshire who has been playing professional poker for 3 years and has not only managed a 2nd place finish in a World Series of Poker event but also has over $1 million in prize money to his name.
